Dems, not wanting to jeopardize their leads in the polls, are distancing themselves from the Kerry situation completely. I don't agree with it, I understand it, but its silly that many of the Democrats are playing into the "I'm offended by Kerry's statement" BS by abandoning Kerry.

Of course, some battles are probably not worth fighting. Kerry is running for nothing next week, so there is some prudence to it.

Because the democratic leadership in this country has no spine or backbone!!
It is disgusting what they let Bush get away with. I wish they would just as vile arrogant and pompous as he is.
I am sick of the GOPs lies and machinations against my party and I am sick of my partys spinelessness.
