Yesterday Bob Barker, host of The Price is Right, announced he will be retiring in June. I, and many other 80's babies, grew up with Bob in the background and he is loved by people of all ages. No replacement has been named yet, and I can't imagine who could take over PIR. Any suggestions??

Those will be some big shoes to fill! I loved Bob Barker on the Price is Right and I am sadden that he is retiring! I can't image anyone else saying "show them the next item up for bid" or "help the pet population, have your pet spayed or neutered, good bye everybody" and it wil be very sad in June when he says goodbye it will be permanently. I will miss Bob. My grandmother watched as well as a great majority of my family and watching the show was a pleasure with him as the host. I think he is irreplaceable. If it has to be done, I would like to see a person who is comical take his place though.

I honestly think no one should take his place. No one could ever replace him. It wouldn't be the same without him. Maybe they should just retire the show as well. I would hate to see some goofus take over and ruin what a good thing Bob Barker had made of that show.

Regis Philbin? What about the guy that did the nighttime PIR for a while?

Why not some newcomer? That way it changes all expectations.

It will have to be someone special. I love Howie Mandel on Deal or No Deal. They need someone like Howie, to give the show more of a twist

No one can replace him, it's his show. I think that they should just cancel it, it won't be the same without Bob.

I'd like to see Jerry Springer do that job. Now that would be a show worth watching.

Give it to Ryan Seacrest. He does everything anyway.

No, no one can replace Mr. B
