i own a repair shop,and the brake pads may be getting low on it ,id have them checked ,this is an early warning sign that there may be some thing wrong with it,but at least have them looked at,its usually free to inspect them so all its gong to cost you is your time,some of the newer cars will flash the brake light if the pads and does start getting wore down,so have them checked out just to be sure,,good luck with it,,i hope this help,s.

There is a stoplight switch above the brake pedal which is depressed when the pedal is pushed. If its come loose from the bracket, the result could be the flashing you describe. If you can manage to lie on your back, remove the cover and locate the SLS (stoplight switch) you can probably fix it yourself.

Its probably your parking brake that causing the light to go on and off. Its not fully releasing.

Could bea possible electrical problem. Get it checked from a mechanic, Dont let them push you around though :)

sounds like maybe your emerg brake, or maybe just a short

maybe your lightbulbs are in backwards. this happend to my old truck too.
