He just has a big mouth- which in many cases helps but many others doesn't-in terms of him. I have a problem with his opinionated (and self serving) actions many times and the fact that he looks like a goldfish- its not that the black or other unrepresented communities don't need to push and have voices- just that I think he's more apt to help himself ultimately and there are many others that are far better people and speakers out there----

Jackson stood on the balcony in Memphis after Martin Luther King was assassinated : dipped his white turtleneck in some drops of Martin Luther King's blood..and proceeded to wear that shirt on a round of talk shows to make a name for himself . I've read comments from some present on the balcony who did not say anything favorable about Jackson that day . Jackson lied and said King died in his arms . While he tries to preach morality to everyone but himself , he is widely known in Chicago for numerous affairs ( tho married ) ; and going so far as to console Hillary during the Lewinsky affair , Jackson is said to have been actively involved in yet another affair at the very time he consoled Hillary & Chelsea over Monica - resulting in a daughter from the affair . If that's a political background , he's got a good scam going .

Jess has always been around The political arena, whether or not he has an political experience is answered yes ...in fact lot more than some of the people who run for office ....what about Ronald Reagan or Arnold Swartzeneggar ..they were about as politcal as Bozo the clown ....but lets face it sometimes a candidate is popular for other reasons other than his political knowledge and what is that anyway
I have political knowledge and it doesnt mean that I am able to run this country or not run it ..I think it takes a combination of things for the job and Yes Jesse has some of em'

Jesse ran for president several times.
I am originally from Chicago and know him all too well.
Jesse is a professional racketeer, quite frankly.
In the early 80's Anheuser Busch produced some commercials he deemed racist, and threatened boycotts.
Then the boycott was called of as Busch gave his sons the downtown Chicago Bush beer distributorship.
Jesse makes money from perceived white on black racism. He tries to create problems not solve them. Thats how he makes his money.
You can become a minister over the internet now. He is a charlatain and my cat is just as much of a holy man as he is.
He has lost much of his power, he is so over the top obvious.
As more and more African Americans are becoming more educated and succesful, they look at him for what he is, a clown!
Steven A Smith on ESPN said he wants Jackson to go away. He says as a black man, he fears people point at him and say, he speaks for you?

Remember that politics is a popularity contest. It does not matter if you are qualified or not as long as you have followers. Qualifications do not get you elected, a bunch of votes do.
I think he is just a guy that knows how to make people follow him; and when people follow you, you gain power; and when there is power there is a sh*t load of money!!!
By the way, Jesse is not the only one doing this kind of thing. Many other people from other ethnic backgrounds do it as well

Rev. Jesse Jackson has been involved in politics for at least the last 30 years as a civil rights leader. He doesn't need a law degree (just like our president doesn't need one) to be a politician or to speak on political issues.
His job IS to make his voice heard, because his voice represents millions of African Americans like myself who speak through our political representatives.
There are others... plenty of others that do the exact same thing like Pat Robertson (white) who also speaks in my behalf on certain political issues.

same as hearing very little of his gospel side until he is standing behind some race issue - where is he when babies are being murdered, children have no health care or asst for mothers in need or even for the hurricane victims
hear of no stand from him in regard to civil rights but is quick to remind that he was a big worker in the party for MLK
like many politicians rattles alot about his position but bears little fruit of effort

Nope, no law degree as far as I know... which makes him the same as Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, etc. and a bunch of other guys who make their voice heard yet no one complains about them or questions their qualifications.
