Sadly, you will find very little information about this situation. Very few people are even aware it is happening.
Try looking up the film "Senorita Extraviada", or its filmmaker, Lourdes Portillo. Do a search on Yahoo or Google, that should get you a little bit of info. Good luck.

Check under mercenaries for anthropological hunting expeditions or for intracultural hunting tours.
My idea is that the killings are just game for wealthy Americans
who want to have a taste of raw human nature and are tired of all the environmentally friendly tours in africa and asia.
