I am looking to use my free time at home to take Computer Based Training (CBT) so that I can get certified in various IT subjects such as Network Security/Lan Administration.

There are quite a few online training certification sites. I can't recommend any one to you, so I'd suggest searching for some, then looking for reviews about them, along with queries to the Better Business Bureau and perhaps a query to whoever administers the cerification you're looking for to see if they're certified to train the curriculum.
That said, in addition to any online course you take, you will benefit greatly from having a couple of computers handy that you can set up in a network at home, and play with to test different configurations. The certifications are meant to work with existing experience in the field, and there is no substitute for actually applying what you'll learn in the course onto an actual test network.
