I would have to say, there is nothing better then feeling truly loved, but a close second is all of these things. I love knowing that we are safe and secure. Being comfortable is so great, bc it is the one thing that makes an argument not turn into a fight. You feel comfortable enough to just be open and honest. It goes right along with good communication. That is also a key element in a relationship. If you hold things in all of the time, that isn't good. No playing games. Get it out on the table and it feels much better. So, all in all, they all go together quite well. If you can have all of these things in a marriage, feel blessed, bc you are on the right track!

A LARGE ROLE my dear! I use to be a feminist and could find ALL the reasons why men suck but I slowly realized that I wasn't being fair.

Once I got married I still had my doubts ( it had alot to do with my husbands behavior before we got married). Recently, I was feeling very insecure in the relationship because of certain events like flirting with women in front of me including my lil sister =( just not having respect for me when we're out and about. I felt very sad and felt like there wasn't any respect on his part AT ALL.

That's when I asked for a divorce, I wasn't going to change anyone so I needed to be with someone who was on the same wavelength as me, if you know what I mean. We talked about our relationship and openly communicated and realized that he IS stronger then that. He is SUCH a wonderful man and truly one of a kind. When you marry someone and are TRULY in love with them then you'll be able to sacrifice old habits and devote your life to the other person.

I realized since our big talk I have felt very much in peace with him and our sex life is MUCH better. I can finally look up to him and respect him as the man of the house. I think there should be that balance between a husband and wife.

I think for a lady it plays a HUGE role. The feeling of safety is vital. For a guy it is important but not in the same way. I think being comfortable is important for the guys. We are just wired differently. :v)

It plays a huge role! if you don't feel safe, secure and comfortable, why are you there? if you don't feel those things, you should step back and look at why you are there.

it is a huge role. if you don't feel those things you will constantly be looking over his shoulder trying to see what he's up to. no peace and no trust. if you cant combine love with safety, security, and a feeling of comfort then you shouldn't be married

safer with weapons. weapons provide all and sundry an identical potential. there'll consistently be solid people who attempt to prey on the vulnerable, weapons are the only counter to that. With a gun, an 80 year previous woman is comparable to a 25 year previous bodybuilder. with out weapons a set of bodily solid douchebags will at once style up and dominate that room.

For me, that's one of the most key parts of being married. My husband is my best friend, my hero, my security blanket. Anything else would seem like living with a stranger, and who wants to do that?
