It is a typical tactic of any politican to blame someone for the problems they can not solve. Since marraige is failing in this country (look at the divorce rates) they like to blame someone. So let's blame the gays who can not even marry.

Let's try to deflect the real stories about his war and how it has gone horribly wrong. How his other international policies have us close to war in so many other places.

Let's hide the fact that oil companies were gouging us so terribly for the last couple years.

He is only in office because the repulicans control both houses. Hopefully after the election the democrates will gain control of at least one house if not both. Maybe then some checks and balances and control on this president can be put into place.

This is hardly surprising. That, from a President who lied to the world about the "need" to find weapons of mass destruction, when he knew full well that it was just a convenient excuse to get people to believe him so he could invade Iraq. And over 4 years later, look at the mess and how he won't see sense. So, the same goes for this about undermining the courts -- he simply does what he wants, and with the mid-term elections coming up, he is trying to rile the right-wingers because he needs support more than ever.

Appalled but unsurprised. He ignores the UN, he ignores his own court - and it seems increasingly he ignores the electorate.

Like Thatcher in the UK, what started off promising to many, ended up with a self-centered person that had long since lost the plot.

If another Country's leader behaved in the way Bush does, he would call them uncivilised, contemptuous and dictatorial.

Hopefully he will be put out to pasture soon enough where he can do no more real harm.

Bush furious over latest intelligence leak
President Bush reacted strongly today to the leak of a classified US intelligence committee's finding that president Bush is a total fu.c.king idiot. "Someone has taken it upon themselves to leak this highly classified information," said a visibly angered Bush. "This was a cowardly and treasonous act. Making public sensitive information of this kind can only cause panic and embolden our enemies." Bush went on to announce a criminal investigation into the leak, vowing to swiftly punish whoever was responsible unless it turns out to have been Karl Rove or Dick Cheney.

It's very sad when I watch my country slide into the postion the old Soviet Union used to occupy -- that of Evil Empire. Did you also know that the governemnt has overturned many search and seizure laws and that leaves us at a point when the "gestapo" or American Taliban (whichever you'd like to call it)can come in and jail us for no reason whatsoever. Scary isn't it? Blessings.

Marriage is the province of the states - not the federal government. If Bush proposes passage of this ban at the national level, what will he think of next?

I feel angry like I always do when I read about his crap. Why hasn't he been impeached yet? I mean seriously, the creep breaks laws, kills innocent people (our soldiers and Iraq's civilians), legalizes torture, spies on his own people and STILL he stays in office. It's so insane that I can't even logically process it.

He's just mad because he can't control everything and can't insist HIS religious views are the ONLY views in which laws are based on.
