A lot of people don't realize how dumb they sound because they are ignorant. They just don't know any better. If it bothers you, teach them.

I think it's a brain issue- their neurons spark something that makes them say really stupid things without thinking first. Ok, not sure why really but good guess right?

You mean like when they get upset because someone asks them to remove a hat, so they make an *** out of themself in front of their boss or in-laws?
