He still hates the soldiers. He just wishes he could make fun of them in a more humourus way. What a sicko

he never said he hated soldiers, he said that Since bush cut education funding, without education people have to join the Army and get stuck in Iraq. but honestly, don't bite into the republican driven media. And think about it, are you in the army? I graduated top of my class in college, i have a master's degree, and then i joined. Ask the army, over 90% of the people there just joined for the college money and don't support the war. None of them want to be there, and bush has lost all of his soldier support. Why fight an illegal war, try Saddam for invading a country, when bush made us do the same thing? Put bush on Trail, see how he likes that. illegal invasion of a country with intent to expand land, that is what saddam is charged with!

Bottom line, he should not have put our soldiers in the joke. It was bad taste on his part, and it is not appropriate to joke about about our soldiers that have volunteered to keep our country safe, and free. I understand that he wanted to make a joke on Bush, but it back-fired. You would think, since he's a public speaker, that he would've known better. I wonder how many of the people that have supported him, don't anymore?

I thought it was pretty obvious he was talking about Bush, not the soldiers. It was Bush who didn't get the joke. So since certain people didn't get the joke, he apologized that people might not understand who he was making fun of and think he was talking about the soldiers. So since he was never making fun of the soldiers, he doesn't need to apologize for that.

Kerry should know better to make jokes. He has the personality of a wet rag.
He can't apologize for saying bad things about our soldiers. He made it very clear how he feels. He is a sick bastard.
