Anyone else sick of seeing these questions about " is a Virgo compatiable with a Taurus"?

I mean it shouldn't matter what signs they are its if they think they are compatiable with that person. *supposivly libras and taurus' arn't compatable...and im dating one*

Yes. But only because these kinds of questions are just so myopic. They look up their own and their friends' Sun signs in the daily horoscopes or in popular books, and immediately feel they're experts.

Then they go round declaring that it's all rubbish, or they ask anyone who cares to listen whether they're compatible with this sign or that sign. No wonder we're sick.

Would you seriously want to listen to such uneducated, shallow, biased people? On any subject, never mind Astrology. I wouldn't trust them with my grandmother...........

There's a LOT more to Astrology than mere Sun signs. In fact, there's so much to study, that most who start learning it give up after some time. They're just not disciplined enough to go the distance.

When will people learn that you simply can't determine if you're compatible with another person based just on Sun signs? There are only 12 signs. There's no way that all people come only in 12 types. Astrologers themselves laugh at such silliness, and shake their heads in disappointment.

Compatibility or otherwise between 2 persons can be found in the way their natal planets inter-relate. There are 12 signs, 10 planets, 12 houses, and dozens more aspects and features. Not to mention 360 degrees of the zodiac. Multiply them together and you get millions of configurations for just a single chart. Can you see how limiting it is to only read Sun sign horoscopes?

Put 2 charts together and there will definitely be some harmonious areas and other inharmonious areas. Those we get along well with have many key astrological areas in harmony with us, and those who don't have few of them, or they have areas antagonistic, even hostile, to us.

For those skeptical ones who are supposed to be incompatible with their loved ones according to Sun signs but who get along great with them, I have this to say.

Before you denigrate Astrology, please first check both of your Moon signs (emotions), then your Venus signs (happiness), then your Mars signs (action), then your Ascendants (personality), then your Mercury signs (communication), and then your Jupiter signs (forgiveness).

Only if you find that none of them match up, will I agree with you that Astrology is nonsense.

Actually, I'm getting tired of seeing the tell me about my sign questions. All they have to do is go to either Yahoo or MSN horoscopes section and they can get a complete rundown of not only their traits but compatability charts if they want to know what sign they are compatable with. A lot of the answers are wrong so what is the point of even asking the question? And as far as the dream questions are concerned, MSN's horoscope page has a free dream section. These people could just go to that page and look their dreams up.

I'm curious, if you're sick of seeing questions about horoscopes, then maybe you shouldnt be browsing the question section under the horoscope category. That's like me going to the sports section and saying" I'm sick of questions about sports, who cares it's boring." and yes, you can look up the answers on the websites, but can't you look up pretty much every question that is posted on the entire yahoo answers site? The point of this website is to get other peoples feedback. Astrology is not so black and white, and many people will have different opinions as to who is compatible etc. As to the person who said that astrology is more than that and that we shouldnt answer questions where only the sun sign is considered, as someone who studies astrology too, I agree there is much more to it, but you can't expect every person who visits this section to know about the whole charts. I often answer questions related solely to the sun sign, I know this is general, but who has the time to do a full chart analysis on every question posted? most people are content with the basic, general answer. Besides, this is supposed to be fun, if anyone was serious enough, I'm sure they will get their chart done at another place, yahoo answers is not intended for full horoscope analysis. So why don't you lighten up? and if you are tired of horoscope questions, stop coming here and reading them.

I too grow tired of people relying on these signs to determine compatibility. We are not governed by the date or month in which we are born, but by who we are, and what we become. It's our choices that make us less or more compatible with another person, it's our life experiences and basic personality.
It's always a good idea to find out your potential partners likes, dislikes, beliefs and values.
What happens if a "virgo" who loves children decides on the basis of a compatible sign to go with someone who wants no children and is not comfortable around them? They are compatible signs right? Reality check! They aren't compatible. It's who you are, not your sign. I'm in agreement with you.

I would think it would have to do with the person themselfs.And not the actual sign they are from. True it makes for good conversation and novelty.But I wouldn't rely on a persons sign to determine if they are my type or not. You might be passing over a diamond and not realize it.You will be surprised in the qualities a person has by how they are as a person and not be judged by the sign themselfs.

I have read different apparently it is one of the best astrological matches but your right it should not really matter I am Virgo and I am not supposed to be compatible with Aquarius This is true of my ex partner and father of my two kids but for some reason I keep choosing Aquarius as partners as my new partner is Aquarius and he is my soul mate funny hey !
