I should have started on Monday. But I didn't. I have been having really bad back pain, like a sharp poking in my right side, and cramps and a kinda pulling feeling across my lower belly. Is it still to soon to take a pg test? I took one this morning and it said no. thanks

No it's not too soon, but they do say that your hormone levels are usually at their highest weeks 7 - 12. Give your self a few more days and if you still haven't come on do another one.

Hi Honey. No, it is not too soon to take a test if your period is 2 days late. Of course the longer you wait the better chance you have that the results will be accurate.
Remember that you can get a false negative with the urine tests. That does NOT mean that you are not pregnant. However, if you get a positive result it is accurate, you will not get a false positive result.
If you can get your doctor to order a blood test that will give an accurate answer right now. The problem with that is that many doctors will not order a blood test until you are at least a week late. If you have a doctor tho you could call and ask.
Other wise I would wait three or four more days ( I know it is hard!) and try the test again. There used to be one that came with two tests in the package for only a couple of $'s more. I would get that one if they have it.
Good luck honey and I hope you get the result that you are wanting!
Love and Blessings
Lady T~

Throwing up from being pregnant is as a results of hormones. The hormones must be intense sufficient to reason this symptom, therefor it would take place on a attempt. I advise getting a sturdy attempt, including First reaction early reaction, this is the final in accordance to shopper comments. If it says neg nonetheless, and your already previous due, then your in all probability no longer. I examined neg untill the day after my era replaced into due w/ all 3 boys and this time I examined pos 4 days until now. they say attempt untill 19dpo, or untill your each week previous due, then you definately will know for specific.

Its difficult to say.... every woman is different. I had to be almost 2 1/2- 3 months late b4 we knew for sure, every test i took and blood test taken would come out neg. My doc said that it was because i wasnt showing enough of the hormone. Generally though most woman know 14 or so days after their period with a simple pregnancy test.

No It's not to soon, I used First Response and got a positive result the day after my period was due. Maybe you should try again, in a day or two, and they say that first thing in the morning your hormones are better detected.
