If you explain to a person that you want no contact with them and they continue to call you, that is stalking. There is no time frame. The fact the you informed them not to contact you is grounds for a restraining order. If you are experienceing this problem take it very seriously and don't take it as if they love you. The fact is they can't get over you and will do anything to get you back, and the fact that they can't have you might make them so mad that they might do something foolish.Good Luck and be careful.

Actually, if you think you're being stalked, you probably are. I was, so I know what I'm talking about. Let the person know that you are not interested in them. Contact the authorities and your friends and let them know what is going on. Change your email address and phone number. Good luck.

If you're hearing from someone you don't want to hear him - I'd consider it stalking immediately, like first phone call, first email.
