If they are in a tree when they die, then yes, they will fall to the ground, unless a limb catches them on the way to the ground.

They lose muscle control like we would, and therefore, have no choice but to fall.

They tend not to climb up trees to die!

But i'm sure if they did they would fall ~ but they wouldn't care
