How can I ease off of welfare into actually working?

I am tired of playing on the computer all day long when I should be working. How do I get the motivation to work when I am already getting paid by the government.

yup, my taxes are paying for your lazy butt to sit at home "playing"

you are aware that funds could be cut off at any time.. do you have a back up plan?

what about a retirement plan?
Welfare is NOT forever ( I hope)

If you are offerred, you should be going to college on the PELL Grant

I would think its degrading ,insulting , no sense of self worth to get a free hand out and not want to get a job and self support yourself

I recommend submitting a couple of applications some place. Then you might get a job.

If you are seriously looking for motivation, give your self a goal that you can meet with a job. Whether it is to get out and meet new people, buy an mp3 player or just the satisfaction of leaving the house everyday and not being a bum. Get that idea in your head and stick with it.

Since you seem to know about computers why don't you take some classes and get into that kind of Field. People that are capable of working need to work. Not only for the economy but also for their self esteem.
