the minimum wage is fine where it is. not every job is meant to support a family. does anyone really think a kid working weekends at the local movie theater should be earning close to $10 an hour? besides the kid himself, that is! if people want to earn more, they should learn a marketable skill and get a better-paying job. there are all sorts of training and college programs for low-income folks, so it isn't as if they have to save up for trade school or college.

It should stay the same or be lower, to make people want to further their education. Instead of handouts for not working, there should be easier opportunities for people to get some sort of education, even if it is a trade. Our government makes it too easy to be lazy. Minimum wage shouldn't have any effect on someone who works and takes responsiblility for themselves.

Well i think sence the cost of living(inflation) has gone up so much that it should be 12 an hour but sence i know that will not happen and time soon i would like to see it go up to at least 8.75-9.75.

I don't think the amount makes a difference, because everytime they increase it, prices on everything go up to cover the increase.
