Mark Adam Foley (born September 8, 1954) is an American politician who served as a Republican member of the United States House of Representatives from 1995 until 2006, representing the 16th District of Florida.
Foley resigned from Congress on September 29, 2006 as allegations surfaced that he had sent suggestive emails and sexually explicit instant messages to young men who had formerly served as Congressional pages. As a result of the disclosures, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement opened investigations of the messages to find possible criminal charges. The House Ethics Committee has also opened an investigation into the response of the House Republican leadership and their staff to earlier warnings of Foley's conduct.

You should ask "Who WAS Mark Foley". He's a pretty sorry piece of history who is gone and might just as well be forgotten. Democrats have now realized that the mud-slinging about Foley only goes so far before people realize and reply that pedophiles exist in both parties.

Mark Foley is a congressman that was found to be sending young males under the age of 18 sexually explicit e-mails. In other words, Mark Foley is a crooked pedophile (I hate to sound so harsh, but there is a difference between being homosexual and being a pedophile).
Here are some websites for you, granted they aren't the best:

A Florida congressman who was caught sending sexually-explicit text messages to 16-year old boys that worked for him. He resigned, then disclosed that he himself was molested by a priest when he was a teenager.
The wacky part about this is that the priest, when interviewed about the allegagation, responded with something to the effect of, "So what? What's the big deal? Yes, I fondled Mark Foley, but there was no penetration. So what's the problem?"
What?!

Isn't he the congressman who was sending lewd emails to the interns? Then, he claims he was molested by his priest when he was a child.
