This may come as a shock for many people there in US, but US is not the world, its only a small part of it.
Its your government we certainly don't like, they are really dumb, making stupid wars all over, don't care for their own people unless they have lots of money, they don't care about pollution and you are doing many things above your own know how and technology.
Then **** happens too often and people get killed even.
For the rest, most of you are nice people, but don't sell your God so much, if they need it, they can find it themselves, don't show the known way, it makes us go in different direction anyway.

From what I have been told by relatives and friends that live in six different European countries no one across the pond hates or even dislikes Americans. I have been asked if we as Americans always support the USA president 100% and my answer has usually been no. I have also been asked how a man like George W. Bush became the USA president. (I am still having a hard time explaining and stomaching this one). Europeans are very outgoing, hospitable and welcoming to Americans! They do not, however, always agree with the President of the USA or the policies of the current administration.
As for the French... France helped the 13 Colonies gain independence from England. When the USA set foot in France during WWI and WWII it was seen as payback for years of French support. The French have usually been supportive of the USA but constructive criticism is not a bad thing.

Europeans don't hate Americans. We don't have an inferiority complex. I don't think you are some ignorant self-centred nut. It is impossible to hate a country as big as the USA. Unlike Russia or China, USA is full of different nationalities and customs - many American people are related to us - we speak the same language and share the same entertainments. Europeans SHOULD amaze you! We speak many languages, we have different cultures and different governments - but most European countries are interested in American and Americans, but occasionally we are amazed how little geographic curiosity Americans show about us.

Well, maybe to start, you could at least do a spell check. You're making us other Americans look stupid when you can't even accomplish that!
Get a clue. Just because someone lives in a certain country doesn't mean everyone there is prejudiced!
To the Europeans, I apologize for their rudeness.

Don't worry about the idiots who have nothing better to do than to insult someone else's country. Most Europeans, like myself, have no problem with America.

France thinks they are superior to the US
amazing how the tune changed when they were invaded during WWII and cried for our (inferior) help to rescue them
hopefully they will get in a terrible bind again with the Korean war or another War
I say .. let those French..............fry

It not an inferiority complex it all. It's just that Americans can come across as being too "cookie cutter," bland, boring, self-centered and unworldly. Just look around you....

because the people in U.S. are more shrewd and not as friendly as those in Europe. Have you seen how welcoming and smiling they are there?
