Dragon was always picked last, so she likes being picked last because then people underestimate her abilities and she can scare the piss out of them.

I was always picked last, too, so I wouldn't know what it was like to be picked first. I think, though, that there would be a lot of pressure to perform well if you were picked first. A "lastie" doesn't have to worry about that and can either choose to try like heck and surprise everyone or shuff off because that's what everyone expects.
So, to actually answer your question I would choose to be a "lastie" even though I am way better at most things now and might even be picked first once in awhile if the occasion was right.

It depends on what the team is. If it was a cool team like for sports or something I'd want to be picked first. If it was a team of idiots that were about to play something that I'm not interested in like a reenactment of a Star Trek Episode, I'd want to be picked last (well, actually, I wouldn't want to be picked at all for that one).

In school, I was always one of the first chosen. (Pretty athletic & not too shabby at sports) So, I'd want to be picked last for a change. However, if the try-out was for an elite team, like going to the olympics, it wouldn't matter to me just as long as I got chosen somewhere.

I have experienced both. I was a twiggy kid in Junior high school and got pushed around alot, so I was always the frustrated pick by the "unlucky team" I ended up growing up quickly after that, and slowly moved up the picks.

I would rather do the picking, because I don't care as much about winning as others. I enjoy winning but I enjoy playing more. I hate people who forget the social aspect of sports.

I know what it's like to be picked last and it really sucked. Then, when people realized I have talent, then they would pick me first. So, I prefer to be picked first, because for me, it tells me that people really want my talent and skills.

most people would want to be picked first
and in academics i was and i always wanted to be
but when i came to sports i was never picked first and i never wanted to be
i much rather be a middle pick b/c first pick is usually picked first b/c of being skilled and first pick has to live up to that
last pick is usually picked last b/c of lack of skill or proper attitude and it's devastating to wait to be picked knowing that everyone "knows" that you suck

First. Then I have influence (hopefully) on whoever else is picked! Last can be so lonely! I've seen those kids and the looks on their faces are almost unbearable!

Neither. I would make up my own team consisting of last-picked people. We would rule all other teams!
