I have McNabb as my starter, but they have a bye week. My backup is Bledsoe, but he lost his job to Romo. Who should I pick up for my starter this week?
My options are below:
Huard
Kitna
Collins
Simms
Culpepper
Warner
Batch
Romo
I am going with Huard, since Green won't start until a few more weeks. Is this a good choice?

I still want McNabb, he is the reason (along with Tomilson, Gates, Harrison) that I am undefeated in my league.

Kitna has 9 TDs along with 9 INTs. He is my second choice. But since it's only for one week, I might go with Huard.

I don't think Huard is a good option. Even though he is doing decently, he doesn't throw as many TD's as the other QB's available. Especially with Larry Johnson on that team. I would go with either Kitna and Romo as they are facing two of the worst passing defenses this year. But personally, I'm playing Romo just because the Redskins allowed 11 TD's with only 2 INT's. Plus it's the Cowboys vs Redskins, so you know the coaching staff with work harder to win this game. And lastly, Romo is only getting better, after completing 66% for a TD and 250+ yards, his numbers will only improve.

I say stay away from Kitna this week. I think he will turn the ball over a lot against the falcons D, which will hurt his fantasy value for this week. Also, the falcons having by far the #1 rushing offense against a weak lions D should kill the lions in terms of time of possession, taking away opportunities from Kitna to score for you. I like Romo. He played very well on the road against a very good Carolina defense. This coming week Romo plays the Redskins D, which is ranked #30 against the pass.

Huard is a good choice, but I also would look at either Kitna playing against the 26th ranked passing D of Atl or Romo who is facing the Skins and the 28th ranked passing D.

I'm in the same situation. I am going with Kitna coming off a bye, playing at home vs. Atlanta which is 27th in the NFL against the pass.
Huard is ok matchup, but it is an away game vs. STL.

For one week I would go with Huard. He is playing well and will continue to play well to try and play his way into a starting job. Or to at least get it back quickly if Green were to have any problems when he comes back.

I go with Huard, even though they have a strong running game. Trent Green might start Nov. 12, so Huard is their main guy for now.

I'd forget McNabb. He chokes. He pukes. He can't win the big one. He's all ego and Campbell's Soup.
