No. If you do decide to keep in touch, the friendship is never the same again because you're always careful not to say too much to them. I have a friend like that. We were inseparable for years until she blabbed to the last person I wanted to know what she said. She apologized and I know she is truly sorry, but being drunk at the time doesn't make it okay. We still speak, but only occasionally, and never like before.

I would never be able to trust someone who shares my secrets with someone else. If I were to be friends with them still, I would have to be guarded with what I said to them. Who wants to live like that.

I wish I could answer this with a clear no.
Experience has taught me however that I'm naive and too willing to see good in everyone over and over again.
So,yes I'd trust them again.

I would have to regain there trust. If she or he was your real friend they should of respected your wishes and not said a word. But you can always try it again see what happens

No probably not in the same way. I would definately watch what I said in front of them for now on. I would only say things that I didn't mind that others knew.

It depends on the severity of the betrayal. I actually had that happen to me about 15 years ago, and I still have not forgiven the person.

Not likely... I mean, it depends on the situation, but if they knew that whatever I told them was said in the utmost of secrecy and trust, and they violated that trust, I probably wouldn't trust them again.

not nearly as much as I did originally. My trust is hard to earn in the first place, re-earning it takes a lot more work.
