my english is not really that good. i been thinking to go for English lesson at British council. i'm kind of scared because i have to take exams and speak to the people that are in charge there to see what is my level. i don't know whether should i go or not? but i'm afraid talking with them. its really very scary for me. its going to be an hour for taking exams and talking with them. there is another centre, but not so good i think. the fees is even more expensive than British Council. i really want to improve my english but i'm afraid to go. im kind of shy person. i scared i'll be lonely at there. please help. i know its good for me to go, but im scared.

Thanks for caring =) and all the advises.
i dont have any friends want to go. plus i dont really mix with English speaking people. I wish to have more friends that speak good english but.. i dont really talk to them. its quite weird to talk with them because they have their own " attitude ". so that's the problem. i feel so low confident when talking with them. i lost some of friends is just because of the language problem.

They understand that if you could speak perfectly, you wouldn't need their lessons.
Don't worry about hte exam. Your performance is going to determine what kind of help you need. If you don't do well, it only means they know that you need more help -- not that they think you are worthless.

Your English seems ok. I understood your question, at least. I think if you want to improve your English skills, the best thing to do is find people who speak English as their primary/ first language who will help you to learn. I think that English lessons can be useful as well, but if you only speak English during lessons, what you learn in the lessons may not really get learned.
Also, I'm sure there may be others who are scared to go. Perhaps you can find someone else who wants to go, but is scared like you and you two can go together.

Judging from what you've written, your English is a lot better than you are giving yourself credit for. Sure, your grammar needs work, but I can tell that you'd be able to carry on a conversation just fine. Go for it and start with the lessons. You'll improve really quickly and feel more confident speaking English.

What's the worst that could happen? ...not that bad, huh? I bet you can deal with it. I used to be scared of making important phone calls. What helps me get over it is the fact that the fear of making the call is much worse than the actual phone call. Besides, If I don't do it, I am going to feel lousy all day for sure. If I do it, scared or not, there is a very good chance that I am going to feel better once I complete it. Besides, what's so terrifying about the British?

There is nothing scary about taking a test. They are there to help you, not judge you. Calm down, take a deep breath and go there. Once you take the exam, get an evaluation and speak to someone and they lay out a plan to help you, you will feel a hundred times better than you do right now.

I think you should go - from you writing I would say that your english is fairly good and remember these people get paid to help people learn english. You will be fine and you might make some really good friends and expand your knowledge.

Feeling afraid is natural. The only way to conquer your fear is to go. You would rather go than wonder about it for the rest of your life, wouldn't you? Your english is pretty good judging by how you write. I don't think you have anything to worry about. GO!
Good luck.

i am not definite what you're asking on query a million; perhaps you would be extra specified/transparent. quantity two is determined by the discipline of the dialog. in essence, what's it that you're relating to that has "no rate"? quantity three. sure there's a change. "indent" is a verb; the act of indenting. "indentation" is a noun. i am not definite approximately facet 'b' of this question. corrections for quantity four: a. "I have many teachers. All of my teachers' residences are spacious and lovely." or "I have many teachers; their residences are spacious and lovely." *through "teachers" do you imply teachers/professors? b. while you're completed having dinner, it could be right to mention, "Thank you for inviting me" or "Thank you for the invitation". "thank you" is used extra informally. it could rely on who you're having dinner with. quantity five. "My pc's audio system are all prime nice."
