I just go to Jack in the Box. They serve breakfast all day there.

because they use the same equipment/grill's and so there wouldnt be enough room and time to do much more than the standard burgers. The demand for say a big mac is bigger than the one for a breakfast after 10:30

But i agree plenty of times i have wanted a breakfast and missed it by minutes

If they have Breakfast all day then it'll be just a normal menu and no point have a breakfast...
But In Hk their MacDonald's breakfast is available whole day...
As for Singapore Breakfast starts at 4am...

I think it's just to torture me every weekend that I sleep in past 11. Surely they know I was out all nite drinking, I mean they saw me at their drive thru at midnite the nite before, how can they expect me to make it back before 11 am? I think someone thinks it's funny to only offer a fabulous little sandwich packed full of hangover cures ONLY in the early morning! It's really quite cruel, don't ya think? LOL

I seriously have NO idea but it would rock to be able to get it at all hours!
And NO fast food breakfast compares to Mickey D's, I don't care what you say! :)

Good question, I always miss the McDonald's breakfast lol.
I suppose it's because of tradition. Also you get more people demanding that sort of breakfast in the morning at those times than any part of the day anyway.

because it will cost them more investment and resources. they use almost all the same equipments and grills to prepare all burgers and muffins. they just need to change the temperature and timing of frying. So working on both the menu will create big headache for the employees. Further, the profit they make from regular menu is far more than they make from breakfast menu.

Yes. That is right. Breakfast items at McDonald's are lower profit, they make far more money with say McChicken sandwich, Mac and or fries. Well done you, you answered your own question.

Because they use the same equipment for both breakfast and normal menu, cleaning egg off the grill to make a quater pounder would not be practical.
Plus the food is rank anyway so opt for something healthier.

I wish they would have it all day!
Maybe it is profit-based, I have no idea. But I'd take a McMuffin over a Big Mac anytime.

My b/f works there part time and he said they were contemplating making breakfast all day. I hope they will because their breakfast is delicious:)
