They have claw or talons on their feet. Whether you'd call them large is a matter of opinion. Google an image of chicken feet.

Only the wild cave chickens of Madagascar. They stand waist high, have huge (4" !) tallons and large, sharp beaks full of razor sharp teeth.

No. Chickens are not big creatures and their nails aren't that big either. They are mostly for digging in the dirt.

Not big.but very painful! Corny, but i spent summers w' my grandparents who had a farm. Really Painful!... then again i was throwing pebbles at them for fun...... I was 7 and bored.
