I am 4-5 weeks and already been to the DRs last week. I was just wondering if anyone else had "good" days, I thought I would be sick every morning......

For me it would come and go. Some days were awesome others I was curled up in a ball next to the toilet. It was the good days that got me through

I had no morning sickness either and I'm now 31weeks 6days. Not every pregnancy gets morning sickness. This pregnancy could be amazing for you that way and the next you could be vomiting non stop. I did have cravings, extreme tiredness, sore breasts. I've thrown up once my entire pregnancy but it was not morning sickness. I switched shampoos and the smell of Dove made me throw up. Stop stressing yourself out, there's nothing you can do to prevent a miscarriage except eat properly, get proper rest, and take your prenatal vitamins. If you have a miscarriage it's because something wasn't okay with the baby, it's better to lose the baby then have one that is born with a lot of medical issues and will spend a lot of time in the hospital their entire life. I hope you don't miscarry because it's the worst feeling in the world but sweetie if it's not meant to be, it's just not and nothing anyone can do can help. You just keep trying and eventually it will happen for you. If you're TTC the best thing to do is take prenatals so your body is more prepared for a baby and that will help reduce a chance of miscarriage.

I'm at 8 weeks right now and I feel pretty good some days while other times I feel like total crap. I actually didn't even have any morning sickness until I was about 5-6 weeks. My doctor told me yesterday that as I near the end of the first trimester I'll start to have more good days and less bad days. I hope that's true because feeling sick isn't fun.

Not necessarily. I had "bad " days every day, but I have friends that just felt sick every once in a while. I even know of a few people that didn't get sick at all. I wasn't that lucky. I had it bad with both my children. Don't sweat it. Maybe you will be one of those that breeze through now, with none of the regular symptoms. If you continue to have bad days in the future, try sea bands. It is with the dramamine and motion sickness stuff. I was skeptical, but it was the only thing that relieved my morning sickness....which was actually an all day sickness!

Don't worry sweetie, it is all normal. Morning sickness can vary from one pregnancy to another and it can even come and go during your pregnancy.
You will probably learn what kind of things trigger the nausea. Usually it is best not to let your stomach get totally empty and try to eat small meals often.
If you are sick first thing in the morning try keeping some plain soda crackers by your bed where you can reach them and slowly nibble a few before you even get out of bed. This worked for me.
Good luck and enjoy this precious time in your life.

maybe you will have some good days with the morning sickness. most women have morning sickness up until they are 12 weeks pregnant, and some (myself included) have all day sickness. usually if you eat some dry saltine crackers and sip sprite or ginger ale before you really start your day you will not feel as sick.
congratulations on the baby

I know from my expierience, my symptoms can somethimes come and go, count today as a good day! It can be almost scary when a symptom disapears, but I bet you'll be sick agian later or tomorrow. Take this chance to get something good to eat in you. If you have been getting sick alot you could use the nutrition.

Each person is different. If you feel like you are going to be sick or have the icky feeling, try drinking miineral water or add a lemon to your water. I couldnt hold down fluids unless it was carbinated and I hate soda! That is until I discovered mineral water.

is really bad the first three months and then slows down a bit. :)

Good luck, and Congrats!

With me I was sick for about 12 weeks. And every once in a while I would have a really good day and then it would be followed by a really bad one.

don't you just love hormones!
