have you been in a situation where you mistakenly thought someone else to be the person you know?

and you tried to get that person's attention only to find out that he/she is a stranger when he/she turns to look at you? how do you deal with the embarrassment?

Hell yeah LMAO one day i was walking up a hill and i thought i seen my cousin and i called her name and then ran up to her and when she turned around i was like OH Damn! i was super embarrassed and get this when i was calling her name some one shouted from their window and was like Shut up. from that point on i never called any ones name, I also had an incident in which this guy was like hi and i went up to his car and i was like heeeey how you doing havent seen you in a while and come to find out he was a guy just trying to talk to me LMAO that Sh!t was funny you had to been there

Not really, but I have been mistaken for two of my sisters. We look a LOT alike. Someone will say something like, why didn't you say hi to me yesterday when I saw you? Turns out it was my sister he saw. Also,. this sister is a bit heavier than I am, and one time a person made the comment that I had lost a lot of weight and I looked much better now. I figured she meant my sister, but instead of explaining it, I just thanked her. It was a lot easier.

I was on the opposite end of the situation just a few weeks ago... she thought she knew me through a mutual friend... we ended up sleeping together ;)
