You keep on living until you can feel again. It will come back. It took 5 years for me but it did come back.

That's not good. You need to talk to someone. That is for certain. Perhaps a professional may be best at this stage. If you've experienced so much negativity that you feel emotionally void, you need to give your feelings a voice. If you don't do that, you may feel the need to try other things to experience emotion. (Or escape feeling all together!). It may not be a good choice. Hopefully, you are smarter than that. Good luck to you!!

This is called jaded, however I dont think that people are really completely jaded. I think that myself am a little jaded, but still, I am skin and bones and can feel. I think that you are just trying to protect yourself from a past situation that was very hurtful. Only you know that situation. If you feel up to it you can talk to a therapist about it so you can start to uncover what has happened that made you feel that way and start working on your emotions.

You turn to prayer. This is why leprosy was the disease of Biblical choice when Jesus was on Earth because the first sign of leprosy is numbness -- the loss of feeling. For most this is the loss of ones conscience but, for all it is the loss of emotion or at least healthy ones. Jesus healed them of leprosy -- they could feel again.

Sometimes we numb are hearts, because they have been hurt one too many times.

Because you cannot feel at this time, does not mean you will never feel again...
It just means at this time you need to
re cooperate.

Give your soul the time it needs. In time, slowly you'll be able to feel once again.

Take it slow, be patient, and take baby steps!
