There really isn't anything wrong with someone of that age to wear heels, but you would think with that much walking in school they wouldn't want to. If this is a mother asking this question.... I would suggest that in order to compromise with your daughter, buy her a paid of boots that have a heel on them... but the idea of a child wearing pumps just doesn't seem natural. But yes if a 6th grader would like to wear boots with a heel, I say go for it, sounds cute.

I don't think it's age appropriate. I think it's more of high school thing. But I think girls in jr high could wear the shoes with the very short heels on them.

No it's not okay. Please no... It's bad for the back and causes one to slip and break something. Besides, it causes some aching in the foot so it is said to at least hold off wearing heels until college.
