Three to six months worth of expenses so that if something happens you wil be able to pay your bills for that long.

I would feel most comfortable with any amount over 5000 at this point in my life. This would be enough that if I lost my job or something happens that I have enough to live on for a couple of months until I fix the problem

maybe a couple of thosand that can, hold you over just in case you get into some trouble along the way.

none. i feel comfortable without it. cant take it where we are going. the future doesnt exist so spend it now.
