Can't believe Jamie Lee Curtis was killed off so lamely at the start of the film, after all the sequels she'd survived what a cop out- disappointed lol. And Busta Rhymes too what the fuk was all that about?! Soz had to rant- anyone else agree?

Annoying thing is even if a film really sucks I still have to watch it through to the end so then I can judge the whole thing lol

yeah-Halloween Ressurrection was pointless. What's the point of making the movie, when Jamie Lee Curtis dies????....i don't get it.....and Busta Rhymes-c'mon-you think a crappy rapper is going to save the day?? did anyone else think it was funny when Busta Rhymes started showing off his 'unique martial art' skills-i was laughing so hard-i almost cried!

I feel the same way too. The sequels started to "water" down after part 2 and part 3 had nothing to do with the first two. I don't blame Jamie Lee Curtis for not wanting to return to the series (If that's the reason her character was killed off). The latest movie was awful and the sequels that may follow will be just as bad.

Yeah, I totally felt the same way about Jamie Lee Curtis getting killed off like that, they shouldn't have even of put her in the movie if they were gonna do that. I went to the movies to see it and wanted to leave right then, but had paid six bucks so I stayed. as far as H20 that was messed up to as she had a son in it, no mention was made of her daughter Jamie who was in Halloween 4 and 5, which makes no sense at all!!!

Yeah agree. I got the feeling Jamie Lee wanted to dissassociate herself with the movies and thats why she was killed so early on and so quickly. However I suppose the killing of her character opened up a new chapter for the films (possibly) maybe making it open for more storyline suggestions?? It was weird and it wasnt a great film, but better than Halloween 5! Busta Rhymes was ok, maybe the producers thought they would be opening up the franchise to a new generation by including him?? Dunno, dissapointing yes, tragic? maybe not. Im sure Michael will be back with another twist in his tale!

Jamie Lee Curtis agreed to do her part, only to make sure her character, Laurie Stode (or herself) wouldn't appear in another sequel. She was also contractually obligated to do at least a 30-second cameo, but she liked the script so much that she increased her involvement in the opening scene.

Can't wait for Rob Zombies new Halloween movie, that should kick @ss

that movie was a pile of crap, im a big horror fan and the hallloween movies are some of my faves, but jamie lee the original scream queen killed off in the first 20 minutes?, come on, no self respecting horror movie fan would find that a good thing to do.
busta ryhmes was ok , but he should stick to singing, tyra banks had like 5 lines in the movie and you didnt even get to see her death scene, i was really dissapointed, the earlier movies were the best.
I will not go to see the remake that is comming out in 2007, AS it will ruin the whole franchise, halloween resurection should be the last movie, let michael myers DIE AND STAY DEAD.

I have loved the halloween movies since they came out when i was a kid, and i too was disappointed when they killed off jamie lee curtis so soon. and busta rhymes pllllease! i thought it was more funny then scary, i didn't like this one at all. they should have just left it alone. being a scary movie buff i was also upset when they did freddy vs jason, come on freddy is not scary. i thought they should have done another jason movie but lets retire freddy.

Yes, that movie sucked so bad! I don't think Busta Rhymes would've been anywhere near that house in reality. That was funny to me. I felt like I wasted a bit of time in my life watching this piece of trash.

Why was Busta Rhymes in it I ask myself? Why do they always get singers etc to play dodgy parts in movies - get proper actors! Although I don't think it could have helped this film really - wasn't impressed
