What are struts? are they expensive to fix. i have a 96 cavalier?

i own a repair shop,and struts are shocks and springs,all in one and there not that expensive to replace,the one thing about them though when you have them replaced you have to have the front end re-aligned on it so it wont wear your tires out ,that's the part that sort of makes the bill go up a little,other than that though ,its not really a expensive repair to do,the shocks are just a common part and real easy to install,if i had the front replaced on it ,id also have the rear ones done also,good luck i hope this help,s.

Struts are basically the same as shocks except they cost more

they are the shock absorber assembly with the spring and shock
cavilier strust run about 150 each for good ones
thirty dollers each labor and you will need an aliegnment after they are put on.
