People express their love for each other by kissing, hugging, holding hands, sexual relations, dining out, giving cards and gifts, telling your true feelings, and alot of other things.

This is an area of great difference between men and women. many men expression and perceive love sexually. For most women this isn't the case and neither understands the other. This results in each expressing 'love' in the way they perceive it unfortunately not getting the intended effect. Try occasionally touching and being close through out the day. (a smile works wonders)

Through affection. A simple kiss, a rub on the arm, a gaze in the eyes. You can tell if someone loves you by their body language and how they treat you.
