If your bf wasn't a florist what kind of flowers would you buy him? Treat him the same as anyone else. Showing him you care is doing exactly that. However, maybe you should think of getting him something besides flowers. How about a nice weekend stay at a B & B or a nice spa treatment. Get more creative beyond just flowers.

If he's a florist, there's no perfect floral gift for him, no candy or chocolate bouquets, or balloon bouquets, or expensive vase (he deals with this on a daily basis). Give him a gift certificate for a massage, take him out to dinner, or take him shopping. Florists need a break every now and then from flowers.

I agree with everyone who say to stay away from flowers, if he is a florist, he sees them all day, and could get them himself if he wanted them. How about a nice bouquet of cookies? or ballons? A teddy bear with a miniture bouquet of flowers?

If you had just flowery flowers in the one you messed up with, then try a rock garden or dish garden, they have both the flowers and greenery.

I dont believe you really messed up, he probably would love whatever you bring just for the thought.

I think you should reconsider your idea of flowers to a florist; Take him to dinner, buy a shirt, gift certificate, but not flowers.

Perhaps an expensive or unusual vase? I'm sure he can get all the flowers he would ever want.

The last time I told someone that I loved them was to my dad last night. The last time I told someone (non-related) that I loved them was about two and a half months ago to my then-boyfriend, Christian.

He loves flowers but come one now, he works with them all day. I'd pick something else.
