I can think of several different reasons:

1. If doing the homework is too much effect, the same is probably true of choosing a best answer.

2. Maybe, when they fail the tests because they don't have a clue how to get the answer themselves, they blame the answerer.

3. Ungrateful.

4. There are users and givers in this country - these are examples of the former.

I'm sure you can even think of more possible reasons.

I agree with you 100%....I have answered numerous homework type questions and the question asker almost never chooses a best answer....it's very frustrating.

Yeh, bugs me too. On the other hand (as LeAnne has already said), if they are too lazy to do their homework, I suppose it would follow that they are also too lazy to pick a best answer.

The solution is simple... don't give them the answer. Show them the way to the answer, and how to apply it to different situations. Teach a man to fish...
