Stop for a moment & think.

It is for sure a good idea to increase what we spend on caring for the less poor& to decrease what we spend on wars.

Wars a useuly fought by those that want more of something for them selfs. (Money, power etc.) with little though as to what happens to the children. Those children that survive grow up & become fighters against those that fought against them.

And the cycle goes on again.

No absolutely not, but then I also think paying footballers thousands a week to kick a balloon round a field is also immoral, they should have to work for their money like every normal person and play football in their spare time. But no, I have been involved in events this year for tackling world poverty and its been harrowing seeing what some children and countries are going through because of war and politics. I have worked with young people who have had their entire families gunned down in front of them. The worlds priorities are definetly in the wrong order.

What have you done today to help a starving child? Or, do you just like to express your opinion? It is amazing to me how many people get on a roll spouting off, but want everyone else to sacrifice or "do the right thing".
Better a War Machine in the terrorist's countries than a War Machine on American Soil! Wake up, and learn to think for yourself. Use the brain that God gave YOU!

I guess we should just let them be killed by insane dictators. Or just let them grow up in fear. I hate that there are starving children. I hate that there are children living in oppression. I hate that our American lifestyle is so good we don't really understand what goes on in 3rd world countries. But, how much of the BILLIONS the US gives annually actually ends up as food in the children's stomachs and how much winds up in some sorry dictator's pocket? How do we fix it?

I don't quite understand your question. Are you saying that this Country doesn't have the right to defend itself, it's citizens and it's right to trade freely with other countries so that we can take our hard earned dollars and instead of providing for the common defence like required in the Constitution we should just ignore our own laws and spend the money to feed people in other countries? If that's your plan, it's pretty rediculous. It wouldn't take long before they would just come here and take everything away from us.
