i was thinking about a nice peice of faux-jewelry. like simulated stones set in real gold...

If she's like poison, why don't you get her a venomous snake? They would have a lot in common with each other...I'm just kidding! For people that you don't know what to get them for Christmas, gift cards usually work, whether it be Walmart, Dunkin Donuts, Cvs, or to a restaurant. They are so useful and convenient for anybody. And you get to choose what amount you want on the card. Good Luck!

A nice piece of jewelry can show that you do think about her. I think it is very nice that you want to get her something although you cant stand her. I do understand, ...I am having the same problem...really, send a card, if you have kids, let them make something for her, and send that or give that. No matter what you give, it is given in the spirit of Christmas. Good for you!

Skip the jewelry (fake or real) and get her something simple and generic, like a gift card to the mall, day spa, or restaurant. You could also try a gift basket of bath products or scented candles.
That way you won't offend her if she doesn't like imitations, and it won't be a meaningful gift that she may take as a symbol of affection (or even surrender if she returns your feelings of dislike.)

jewelry is usually gifted to people you like and love. this not being the case, even if its the most beautiful piece of jewelry in th world, she wont appreciate it cause she sucks, and youll be hurt. get her a gift card instead.
