Definitely agree. There is no knowledge in the present except what has already been gathered. Knowledge of the future depends upon what happens until then.

I disagree. We would at least have the knowledge that we have knowledge of some sort and will find as we do now, that we have no knowledge of whatever we wish we did have knowledge of.

Knowing the past can't change the future think of all the war that have been fought for the same reasons over and over again
think of all the teenage mothers that have told their stories to other teenage mothers and all the babies that continue to be born
think of all the people killed by drunk drivers in the past and all the stories that have been told and all the deaths that continue to happen
the past means nothing to us and the future we repeat it without reason

agree. think about it if we did not know our past and how we came to be, how would we know if we are making progress. how would we know why things are the way it is today. we wouldn't appreciate anything and would take many things for granted. like freedom.
