That's kind of hard but I'd say punk they hav emo quality's but not enough to classify them as such besides if u asked that 2 a simple plan fan they would punch U

How can you get emo and punk mixed up? They sound completely different!!!
wait, you are talking about real punk (Sex pistols, Dead Kennedys etc) and not the pop punk that we get these days aren't you?

simple plan is pop-rock...they said themselves that they aren't punk. punk music? try the misfits, the ramones, anti-flag...thats punk.....emo music? try juilana threory, the mascara story.

they are pop punk same catagorie as fallout boy etc..... emo lol dont think so. bands like atreyu alexisonfire or hawthorne heights are emo.
