It doesn't rise. A giant dragon eats it and it dissappears. Then in the morning, the dragon lays a new sun.....So the ancients believed. The sun does not rise or does not move relative to us. It is the rotation of the earth about its' axis that causes this phenomenon.

Sun is stationery, The Earth rotates in its axis from west to east that's why we see the sun rising from the east.
As it takes Earth 24 hrs to rotate on its own axis the sun rise for any part of the world will be after every 24 hrs except equators.
This is similar to a travel by a train looking through the window
every stationery object seems to come from front as if it is rising from there only.

The sun doesn't rise. As the Earth rotates we can see the sun in different angles. Seeing the sun in different angles also proves that the Earth rotates.

since the earth rotates around sun and also arond its own axis but sun rotates only arond its axis so while rotating we find that when the sun comes in front of the earth then we saw the light and sun rises. and as the earth rotates sun sets . actually due to 360 degree rotation in one day we get both processes in the same day.

it doesnt rise, well maybe it does but it just appears to appear out of nowhere :S sometimes u can see the sun with the naked eye... HOW!?!?!

Bcuz our earth rotates. Rotation of the earth causes day and night change that we experience everyday.
