This is someone that i met on the internet. He really wants to get out of the gang and I am trying to help him as much as possible. I just need some pointers in the right direction. I have given some information from the internet and he said that he is going to move out of the area so I will wait to see what happens to him. Thank you for all of your help.

if he wanted out, he would just move somewhere else, far away. I really dont think that a bunch of hoodlums and punks are going to be able to track him down like the mafia or cia. I guess you should just tell him to look both ways before he goes outside, and to zig and zag when he should.

Why should you do anything - unless you are the "friend"?

Whoever is the real subject of the question should simply be a man or a woman and get out. What the hell were they doing in the gang in the first instance??

Depending on where you live, there are usually former gang members who are out of it now around to talk to. Nine out of ten times they get connected with a church, so check in with your clergy and see if they know someone.

i would personally tell someone of authority or who could have a good handle on this situation. this isn't good, and you dont want your friend getting hurt, but something needs to happen

Is moving an option? Please be very careful this is a serious problem and should be handled seriously. If you can move at all I suggest you pack up.

I don't really know, but tell a responsible adult, don't take anything on yourself, make sure you tell someone who you know for sure is responsible.
