I mean, the richest and most powerfuil country in the world, and what to we have?? An expensive, deadly, endless quagmire in Iraq that our young men are "stuck" in.

And Kerry had thje gaul to admit what this president has done,as ugly as it is?

Is this why Bush has to resort to false anger?
Is this why Bush has no solutuions?

Was the comment embarrassing or just taken out of content....I agree with what Kerry said I just dont agree how he said it.....he should have made his comment very clear...no room for misinterpretation.....but Bush saw the opportunity to take a distraction from the real issues going on.....and of course the American people are feeding into it. Would Kerry comment have been sooo defensive if it wasnt elections...or if Bush wasnt getting so much criticism for the progress in Iraq?

Kerry was WRONG for saying what he did about the military members. His thoughts about the president are this thoughts, I don't give a damn about what he thinks. He is a walking example of the problems with the US government today. He considers himself elite, above the common person, doesn't have to answer to anyone. That is not who I want to represent me anywhere at anytime. The face of the demoncratic party needs a severe facelift

If the democratic party doesn't demand he apoligize to the US military (of which he was a poor member at one time), they will never get my vote now or in the future

He never had solutions.Just the ability to keep people in line with their fear of a shadowy elusive enemy that can never be pinned down.
Kerry was right to say what he did and Im glad someone finally said it. The republicans always say democrats are weak and have no backbone. If John Kerry apologizes for what he said,I will never vote democrat again.
He was right and he needs to own that he was right about what he said. The republicans have no way to get out us of this war, they just have alot of hate filled rhetoric and zingy one liners that just dont cut it in the real world.

The thing is our men dont think they are "stuck" over there in Iraq, because they believe in the "cause"... I know of guys who came home, and want to go back.... So, I wouldnt call that an accurate statement....

Kerry just needs to go hide his head some where, hes caused enough embarassment..

President Bush has things under control, as with any War, it takes time, and the outcome will be good.

Please allow me to ask a few questions, how many times has the US Military lowered the standards to be able to meet their quotas?

Look at "EVERYONE" who has been arrested for violating the Rules of the Geneva Convention what is behind their names. I am serious go look and see! High school drop out, could not find work and were troubled.

May-be he was saying what everyone else is scared to say, he is right!

God Bless You, Them and the Southern People.

Kerry's comment was embarassing for him and for the military. He essentially equated military members with the uneducated.

Why does Kerry get the benefit of the doubt by claiming he made a "joke" -- which it was not -- but Rush Limbaugh and Trent Lott get crucified for telling the truth and a off the cuff comment respectively?

Double standards galore.
