My friend doesn't have a job because i am moving so she doesn't babysit for me anymore she had to have an emergency surgery for her gaulbladder they had to remove it i am trying to help her before i move on saturday to get some help with the medical bill and i was wondering if anyone knows if there are any charities that i can email to see if i can get her some help so this won't hurt her any in the long run

The hospital will have a finance person that will qualify her for free care or reduced fees. I have done it, speaking from experience. You have to ask- the hospitol will not volunteer this info, even if you hint around it. Ask directly.

Try calling the hospital. In some cases they will see her income and waive the fee. Good luck!

I'd call the medicaid office first. Then I'd ask around to different churches. Good luck!
