I've had this problem in the past, you are most likely not getting your period because you haven't ovulated yet this cycle. If it has been a month since your last period, chances are, if you were pregnant you would be getting a positive on the HPT because there should be enough hCG in your urine to be detected by even the highest sensitivity tests (like the one from the dollar store). There is a small percentage of women who do not react to urine preg tests, in that case you would need a blood test to verify pregnancy and you should call your doctor.

Yes, that is possible. Wait another week and if you have not gotten your period yet, retest first thing in the morning. If it is negative, go to your doctor for a blood test, that will give you a decisive answer. Until you find out one way or the other, avoid alcohol, smoking, etc. just in case. You can still do everything else you would normally do, including working out. Good luck!

Yes, that is possible. You can either wait another week and try again, or go to your doctor and have a blood test done. Chances are, if you are pregnant and your levels are too low...then you are going to need some medical advice anyway. Your levels should double every 24 hours and if they don't it can be sign of early miscarriage. OR, you may just be stressed and your period is late. Best to find out though!
Good luck!

Go to the doctor silly. Home tests only test for one type of hormone. If you are only three days late it may not be detecting that small amount of a hormone. The dr. office tests for 3 different hormones and they are a lot more sensitive. they can always take blood. Are you on birth control.

you could see your doctor, he can do a blood test, to know for sure, but it could be you're not pregnant, but late due of stress... It depends a bit from person to person: some are never late, some are all the time. If you really want to be sure: go see your doctor...

Sometimes pregnancy doesnt get detected early with the urine test. You might need to get your blood tested. Better go to your G.P.

Instead of taking so many tests and remaining unsure, how about going to your doctor for a test?

Check with your doctor. You may have a tubal pregnancy or it may be just stress. But you need to be checked because tubals are dangerous.
