There doesn't seem to be a worldwide statistics page anywhere that I can find. You can find it by country, and then extrapolate data that way I suppose.

possibly Lloyd's of London would have shipping losses reported somewhere but that would be about it i suspect. for small craft there is an outfit that tracks losses of yachts but i can't offhand remember its name
