Well right now I do lots of Yahoo! Answers on slow days. But I realized I am wasting a lot of time I could be using to write papers and do homework.

I would say Yahoo. Just because I'm in school and I need the time to do schoolwork and most bosses understand the whole school thing.

After a discussion with one of our I.T. staff he stated that employees would get terminated faster for doing school work. The reason: School work is like an investment(one that's not approved for educational leave) or second job and getting paid while conducting school business. Although surfing on Y!A could fall under "wasting time", that seems to be overlooked.
To be safe, find out your company's policy for those situations. If it's justified educational reason ask for educational leave.
