I'm definitely not, but I have a Maori friend who does Waitangi Tribunal research for Ngati Toa. She wore a kiwi-feather cloak when she graduated, which is about the coolest thing I ever saw at anybody's graduation. I think she just about passed out from the heat in that thing, though. I've never been to New Zealand, but I hope to go visit her in the next couple of years.

I also had a couple of professors who were "Kiwis" and part Maori at the University of Hawaii. Both of them used to wear sandals to work, kick them off as soon as they got to their office, and teach class barefoot. You might think they were easy-going, but no teacher or professor has ever made me work harder!

And Catherine Zeta-Jones is from Wales.
