And why?

The Guardian - because it's editorial is more inline with my own thoughts.

I do read the Times occasionally as it's not too right wing.

I do not read:

The Daily Telegraph - Too right wing - makes Hitler seem like a Socialist.
The Indenpendent - It supports The Liberal Democrats - and therefore criticises any other viewpoint.

I certainly do not read the red-tops, celeb mags or lads mags, as they are a complete waste of my time and money.

The San Francisco Chronicle, The Sacramento Bee, The Washington Post, because I like to get a variety of viewpoints and all these papers are top notch.

The Guardian / Observer. Why? Obviously I'm a trendy lefty pinko. :) In reality I like it's features and editorials and comment, I like it's size (the Berliner format) bigger than tabloid, smaller than broadsheet.

I read the Telegraph at a push, and avoid like the plague the red-top comics. Also avoid the Mail, as my membership to the racist, homophobic and anti immigration club has run out.

The Western Morning News. It is the morning `paper for the S.W. of England, it is a bit like the Telegraph. It contains both the top stories of national news and news for the West Country.

When I buy a newspaper I get the Guardian, when I travel on the tube I pick up the Metro, but other than that, I get my news on line - Guardian on line.
