How long should it take?

Question

For regular periods how long is the cycle. I ask because I'm 17 days past ovulation, no period, - HPT, and on CD 33"cd=cycle day". My BBT basal body temps are still high. And have really bad cramps on my lower right abdomen. I'm suppossed to test HPT again on 11/03/06. If I get a - result, then I start Aygestin and Clomid 2nd round. If anyone can help I really appreciate it.

Regular cycles go for about 28 days (Starting from day one of bleeding right through to the first day of your next period.)

Also do you know for sure that you ovulated 17 days ago? Like did you take the ovulation test? Because you are supposed to get your period 14 days BEFORE your period. People told me that I would ovulate 14 AFTER my period, but that's not what happened. I ovulated 14 BEFORE my period exactly, so should be the same with you.

Also they say if your body temp is high from the beginning of ovulation until after your due for period, there's a high chance your pregnant.

YOU really DO sound pregnant by these question's I have been answering. If your temp is still up past day 18..YOU ARE pregnant. (as i said my friend...8week's pregnant,didn't even take a HPT at first she just new by her BBT (high past day 16-17)
Then she DID get a + HPT 2day's BEFORE her missed period. Good luck again, I hope that you are so you can pass the baby dust on to us :)

i think you don't take medicine untill you be sure that you are not pregnant, do you mean your cycle is 33 days?if it is you are not too late if we suppose that your ovoultation date was almost on 17 th of your cycle..
so i tell if you don't get your period untill that day, it's better for you to go to the lab and take blood test ... it will show you if there is pregnancy or not....
