Last night my frined was on the chat rooms and so was i, any way we were havin banter in the room, next thing i know im gettin a message from a comlete stranger tellin me information about myself, i was freakin out, how did this man get it??? and i begged and begged my friend is she givin out info to someone just for the laugh and she denied and i got more scared how did he know all this, but it turned out it was her makin some lad do it, what would u say ti ur frined if they did this??

so dan s ur tellin me, that if ur friend told a complete stranger where ya live and where ya go out u wouldnt mind cos thats what she told him, !!!!

Well supposing u didn't find it funny, tell her it's a poor pratical joke.

Depending on how personal the information is, you can tell her that the inforation is too personal to be given away to strangers who you don't know.

I kinda did this to a mate once pretending to be a stranger, but she found it funny and was okay with it. This was an exception, because the victim found it funny and didn't minded too much.

You as a victim should decide what you want to do, since you had the most say about this.

I would slowly but surely cut this person out of my life. A real friend would never do anything to upset, scare or hurt you no matter what.
It's not a joke, it's your life and your safety. You have a right to have friends who look after you and don't play games with your emotions using the excuse that it was all a joke.

I would of gone mad... friends dont do that sort of thing, especially while ur in chat rooms, where all kinds of freaks hang out... my god what was ur friend thinking, turn it around girlie, say to ur friend "how would u feel if i did it to you".. make her feel guilty and ensure that u get the apology that u deserve..

Tell her how annoyed you are with her but at the end of the day forgive her - she was just trying to have a bit of fun and I'm sure didn't want to hurt or upset you. If she did it again, well that's a different matter!

I hope she's not ur best friend and if she's not then leave her. You just ask her frankly why the hell she did all these?? I think she's going to tell u. May be there was any reason behind all these. Naf :-)

I would never ever ever speak to her EVER again. Some girls have a real sick sense of homour and you dont want anyone you cant trust in your life. They just arent worth your time x

well to be honest I would be a little peed of with her, I mean she has no right to be giving out information bout you to people you don't even know, even if she was just doing it for a laugh (haha hilarious) then just speak to her about it and baically say well err.. can you not do that please! xx

nothing just tell her not to because it makes you scared and she just thinks that you will take it as a joke because it is funny. tell her how you really feel and that it annoys you when she does stuff like, if you make your feelings clear then she will understand how you feel.
