I have been working at my current job for about 3 months. I like it but I am a receptionist so if I need time off it is really hard because they dont have a back up for me and that makes it so someone else cant do their own job because they have to fill in for me. This is a Temp- To Hire job and I am not even sure if I will be here much longer.

My cousin works at a medical billing facility and they are hiring, so I submitted my resume and they called me for an interview...I am going today. If they offer me the job should I accept it. Keep in mind my current job in 1 hour drive each way and the new job would only be 35 mins each way.. I like what I am doing now and eveyone is so nice but I worry that maybe tomorrow I wont have a job here because business is getting slow..I hate switching jobs but this new one sounds like a great opportunity...Could someone give me some adivce.

Well, it sounds like the new job is a good opportunity. Be sure to get all the info you can regarding benefits and time off at your interview. It just depends on whether you feel the new job would also be enjoyable or satisfying, but being closer and more secure is definitely a plus.

Go to the person you work for now and realy your problem If the other job is waiting for you and this one gives you the indidcation that your job will end, then your choice is made. If they like what your doing, why go with a temp? Perhaps they have had trouble keeping someone in your position? Maybe you have proven that you are the one they should keep rather than staying with a temp but you'll never know if you don't ask. Perhaps now is the time before your window closes.

Permanent job with bennies is better than temp job any day. Plus you'd save on time and gas/wear on your car.

I'd try the new job. The old one sounds iffy and it's a long drive.
